Principal Architect & Founder

Been in the game for 18 years now, mostly focused on sustainable design before it was the cool thing to do. Started this firm because I got tired of seeing good ideas get watered down by corporate processes.

Specializes in: Sustainable residential, net-zero commercial buildings

Fun fact: Built his own off-grid cabin in Squamish - it's basically a testing ground for crazy ideas

Elena Quinthos

Partner & Lead Urban Planner

Came to Vancouver from Barcelona with a head full of ideas about how cities should actually work for people. Spent years at the city planning office before joining forces with Marcus in 2019.

Specializes in: Mixed-use developments, public space design, community planning

Fun fact: Designed the award-winning pocket park on Davie Street (yeah, that one everyone loves)

James Reeves

Senior Architect

The technical wizard of our crew. If you can dream it, James can figure out how to actually build it without breaking physics or the budget. Has this weird ability to spot structural issues in renderings.

Specializes in: Complex structural solutions, heritage renovations, commercial spaces

Fun fact: Restored a 1920s warehouse into his live-work space - it's basically an architecture nerd's paradise

Interior Design Lead

Makes spaces feel right, not just look good. Has an uncanny eye for lighting and texture.

David Kowalski

Construction Manager

Keeps everything on track and on budget. Former contractor who knows every trick in the book.

Architectural Designer

Our CAD genius who turns sketches into buildable plans. Probably knows Revit better than anyone in BC.

Visit Our Studio

We're right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, just a few blocks from the Granville Street Bridge. There's usually coffee brewing and we've got a pretty solid collection of architecture books if you want to geek out.

Our studio's in an old converted loft space - we practice what we preach when it comes to adaptive reuse. Lots of natural light, reclaimed materials, and yes, we're aiming for net-zero by next year.

Drop by if you're in the neighborhood, though it's probably smart to call ahead to make sure someone's around to chat. We're often out on site visits or meeting with clients.
